Since purchasing Wilson Software, my skills level, especially at tournaments, has vastly improved. Even though I am still chomping at the bit to crack a "big one", I generally find myself in the top 1/3 and enjoy a good final table ratio. The bottom line, my confidence is always growing....and I can attribute this to the exercise of testing myself with the Wilson product line.

When I first began using the Wilson software, I concentrated exclusively on the Tournament Texas Hold 'Em program as I was strongly motivated to excel in tournament play. I set the software up to play single table "sit and go" type tournaments - which I understand are very common on the internet. After seven months of practice (and over 2,300 games played) I finally hit the fifty percent threshold. It was only at that point that I decided to venture over to Tunica and try my luck there versus "real" competition.
In the first tournament I entered in Tunica, (a $145.00 buy-in hold 'em tournament with the top 18 players finishing in the money), I finished in twenty-third place - just five places out of the money - from a field of 138 players. Two weeks later I entered the very same tournament and finished in a five way tie for first place from a field of 112 players. (The last five of us agreed to an equal chop.) I won over $2,000.00 in that tournament. Since then, I have had several more tournament cashes as well as some nice cash game wins.
Lately, I have become fascinated with Omaha - in particular Omaha High-Low split eight or better. I have been using the Wilson Omaha/8 software to improve my Omaha game. This has included quite a bit of practice in 100-hand "challenge matches" versus Sherlock Holmes and Charlie Chan. I'll just say upfront that Sherlock and Charlie are two tough customers - especially if you challenge Charlie using one of the tougher lineups. (I'm beginning to suspect that Charlie Chan may be related to Johnny Chan!) However, I'm convinced that once I'm holding my own (or actually beating) Charlie Chan on a consistent basis, I will be a good Omaha player. Eventually, I intend to tackle the 7 Card Stud program as well.
There are numerous ways to improve as a poker player. Of course, there are poker books as well as the rich plethora of resources one can find on the internet. And of course there is the ultimate test - live play in brick & mortar casinos as well as on the internet. To improve as a poker player, one needs to avail him or herself of all these resources. I believe one should also include the Wilson software as part of your poker curriculum. Diligent practice against this software will elevate your game - I'm living proof of that.

I have been playing Hold 'Em and Omaha Hi for less than four months and was losing money. Your software paid for itself in a day. I got the software on
a Wednesday, used it for about two hours, and was making money by Thursday.
The software is easy to use. The features such as Sidewinder Sid, Game/Opponent Awareness, and the Hold 'Em Tournament programs turned losing into a profitable night. Let's hope the rest of the guys in my home game don't find out about your great software. I want their money in my pocket.

products! I practice playing poker daily with both of your Hold'em programs
TTH6 and Tourn Hold'em. My poker knowledge and playing skill have improved

I still love and recommend your software to many, many friends. In the year I have
been using your two top Holdem products, I have gone from complete beginner to
consistent winner.
I play often in tournaments in the $40-$200 buy in range, all local in Dallas,
and I am about a thousand dollars ahead on the year. By "often" I mean about once
a week. I consistently take down about a hundred dollars or so in home games with
$1-$2 blinds. I have played at the same table with pro players and have done as well
as they have, and I am no longer intimidated by any player. I used the software almost
daily for a couple of months, still play on it very often for fun and pleasure. I still
take some bad beats and make some silly mistakes, but I know them when they happen.

I bought TTH V5 a few months ago. Along with several books, I
used the software to slowly and systematically teach myself Texas
Hold 'em. I developed a very methodical and analytical way
of using your software and Excel spreadsheets to compare my play
to some of the program's better players. I pinpointed leaks in
my game with certain types of hands, compared them to theirs and
corrected them. I use all of its features... from replay, freeze
the button, stack the
deck, repeatable deals and high speed simulation ...to understand
and learn various
nuances of the game.
As a 20 year blackjack player who wanted to learn Hold 'em, I
wanted to write to tell you that this past Saturday I sat down
at a live, limit Hold 'em table in a casino for the first time
in my life, played for 3.5 hours and came out ahead. I am 100%
confident in saying that with books only I could not have had
the same success. TTH provided me the opportunity to experience
the concepts the books described without having to risk money.
It also allowed me to develop my own style of play. This is just
the begining of my poker education. Without your software I
couldn't have done it as thoroughly or with the degree of confidence
I had when I sat
down at that table.

Hello.
I just recently purchased Turbo Texas Hold'em V5. I just wanted
to say what an
UNBELIEVABLE program this is. I can not say enough what a fun
and enjoyable time I have playing. To be honest, I was a little
wary about the price, but once I played for a while and found
out ALL of the stats the program is capable of generating and
just the playability alone, the product is DEFINITELY worth EVERY
penny I paid for it. The only problem is the fact that I am getting
nothing else done because I'm constantly playing TTH!!

I ordered the Texas Turbo Software and received it on New Year's
Eve.. I called in and had
Sid Sidwinder unlocked immediately. I practiced every day until
the Jack Binion Tournament
at Tunica on January 18th.. even playing in the car on the lap
top!!!
I played a satellite tourney the day before the Women's event
and won!!! It was a straight flush draw.. A-5 of diamonds against
a flush..
The next day arrived and 254 women were in the event. I placed
19th and in the money..
This was my first tournament, and there is no way I would have
played as well as I did without the software and Sid's voice in
my head.. "you need to tighten up"
I cannot thank you enough for this software.. I have almost every

Against all my expectations, I made the final table and the money
-in the first tournament I ever played in. It was a private game
with 54 players at 9 tables.
I have played many hours using the Tournament version of your
software and, with only this experience, I made my way back from
an enormous costly bad beat (FH lost to 4 of a kind) to finish
6th out of 54 players.
This tournament was actually only my 4th time playing real opponents.
The first 3 were low-stakes game in AC and I was able to beat

Hello,
I recently purchased your Turbo Texas Hold'em software. I confess
I was really skeptical about paying the $89 for it (plus the other
options I purchased.) I got into Hold'em mainly due to the WPT
series on Travel Channel and have been trying to really learn
how to play it well through books, a couple of Casino style software
applications that had Hold'em in them
(Hoyle Casino 2004 & Bicycle Casino 2), and by playing on-line
at Ultimate Bet.
With the other software titles I purchased, I figured $30 for
software with Hold'em (and other casino type games) seemed like
a good price, but now $89 for an application that's only
Texas Hold'em seemed a bit extreme to me. However, I decided to
bite the bullet one day
and give TTH a shot and bought it with Sid & the Little Green
Book.
All I can say is I feel like I've robbed you! It's worth well
more than what you're selling it for. I absolutely love the software!!!
And just a couple of days using it and then returning to the poker
rooms on Ultimate Bet, I've notice a big difference in my playing,
winnings, and how I "see"
the table & game.
I can't wait to return to Tunica to hit the poker rooms now.
I guess what I'm trying to say is, thank you for the incredible

thousands of different software packages, all claiming to be the
best and the most user friendly. During this 25 years I have NEVER
written to a software company to compliment them on the software.

from my experience that your software is the best software of
any type I have used. And it is obvious that the folks who wrote
these programs are either poker players or have a very good relationship
with people who are.
I consider myself to be an intermediate poker player, I ordered your software
as a training tools to make my game better. It has done that and
more. These programs are truly the best training software I have
ever had the chance to use, regardless of the subject. I would

in learning poker. The talking feature on

I just returned from Vegas after using your software for about
2 weeks and I felt much more comfortable at the table. I really
felt as if I was one of the better players at my table; it felt

Bob, It was nice talking with you yesterday. I wanted to take
some time to thank you for what
your software has done for my game. I was an absolute new beginner
mid year last year.
I liked the game played micro stakes won a little, lost a little
and was happy to be a break even
player - it wasn't costing me anything and it was entertaining.
I was weak-tight. I would only
play pure premium hands and would not raise - wouldn't bet draws
and would fold in the
face of aggression. I got TTH in late December and this is what
my win rate has looked like since: (Image showing nearly $4000
in profit Jan - July)
TTH has totally changed my game. I found leak hands like KJo,
A10o, and QJo in ep.
In addition, I now know how to raise semi-bluff's and utilize
position. Head's Up and
5-handed are my biggest weaknesses now - and that is what I am
currently working on.
I just bought the 5.0 upgrade with Sid and Tournament Turbo Holdem
- so I expect to win
the WSOP sooner rather than later!
A 4000% return on micro limits!! Nice investment - especially
in today's market conditions!

I sent you folks a thank you note after I first received my copy
of TTH praising the software.
I was an absolute beginner at Holdem at the time and had booked
my first win at the
game as I recall.
Well, after a half year I have played live Holdem about a dozen
times and only lost money once, with the total wins keeping me
squarely in the black. When I first considered the software I
balked at the price but now I realize that it paid for itself
with the first dozen bets I saved.
Or is that the first pot I won playing 89s that I would have mucked
before? ;-)
Of course, I continue to practice with Turbo and also re-read
my poker library on occasion but when I drag the pot by raising
before the flop getting the blinds to fold, or when I confidently
muck ATo to a threatening board I try to keep the smug look to
a minimum ... and secretly
thank my practice time at the computer.
As much as you folks deserve a tidy profit for your excellent
product, I sure hope my future competitors don't have the same
practice advantages as me.

I just want to let you know how much I've enjoyed using your hold-em
programs. I've been
using them now for about 5 weeks and I've already seen an improvement
in my play at the tables. I'm playing with much more confidence,
which improves my table presence and my overall profits. I'm not
playing "scared" because my analysis of my hand vs. the board
and the table is improved significantly. Since using Turbo Texas
Hold-em I've been averaging
$51/hour in the $20-40 games... not bad considering I was in the
negative before!
The Tournament Texas Hold-em program is really helping my tournament
play. While I've
yet to post a win, or finish in the money, I keep getting closer
to the money tables. I am
quite confident I'll cross that "bridge" very soon.
All too often people write only when they have a complaint or
grievance... I gladly will write offering kudos and offer thanks
for a "job well done" as you have with your Hold-em software.
I realize the time and effort put into quality software and its
continuing improvement.

When I last wrote to you in May, I had not yet posted a money
finish in any tournament. As of today I've proudly posted two
final table appearances and three other money finishes!
I finished 11th at a $15 buy-in limit hold'em Hollywood Park tournament
and won $65.
This was the ice breaker. At the Bicycle Casino Legends of Poker
$1,060 buy-in limit hold'em
I made the final table, finishing 3rd and winning $11,400. Again
at the Legends, I finished
24th in a $330 buy-in limit hold'em event picking up $770. At
the recent Commerce Casino's Heavenly Hold'em tournament I finished
9th (final table) in a pot-limit event winning $896.
Most recently, I finished 12th in the Heavenly Hold'em No- limit
event winning $1,036.
Along the way I've played in many satellites and I'm taking money
down about 40% of the time.
My table image has improved dramatically and I'm having fun, and
have a tremendous
amount of fun with the other players.
Again, my thanks to you and your hold'em software. The Tournament
Hold'em has improved
my tournament play substantially. Turbo Texas Hold'em and Sidewinder
Slim are excellent
tools for the serious player and I can honestly state, without
these tools I would not have
become a winning player.

Before I received your software, I entered a $100 Hold'em tournament
(my first) and
finished 90th out of 110. I received your software last week and
played in about 60 Practice Tournaments. I immediately noticed
holes in my Tournament play and worked hard with your software
to close them. I needed to work on patience, discipline and picking
the right time to make my moves. Tournament Texas Hold'em did

Texas Hold'em.

Thanks to the great software you produce, I won the all-around
points total and now hold
the title of Wisconsin State Poker Champion - 1999. This was a
four game event including, Hold'em, Omaha H/L8, 7-Stud, and 7-Stud
H/L. I finished first place in two of the games
and was in the money on the third. I now qualify to play in the
Tournament of Champions.

Here is a technique that I have found helpful. Use the "stack
the deck" option to force the program to give you the same
starting two cards every hand. For example, AA. All the other
players will receive different starting hands for each different
deal (the flop, turn and river
will also be different for each hand). This way, you can practice
playing with AA against every possible situation. In one hour,
you can play 50 or so hands with AA. In real life, it might
take you a year to get this experience with such a hand.
Next, stack the deck so you are dealt KK each time. Only give yourself
playable starting hands. This way, you can play every single hand
and gain vast experience in a short period of time.
To find out which starting hands are playable, get a book like Lee
Jones' "Low Limit Hold'em" and play with the book open
next to you. By the way, you can also stack the flop, river,
and turn cards if you want (and the hands of your opponents). This
way, not only can you get the initial starting hand that you want,
but you can also gain experience on how to play against various
flops, etc. Lee Jones'and Sklansky's Hold'em books give various
situations you might find yourself in and you can use this stacking
feature to replicate these situations or change
them in varying ways.
